Bloodsport

Bloodsport is an installation built around the UFC's official "Bloodiest Fights" YouTube compilation, a 2.5-hour video the organization published and promotes. A flatscreen TV, shrink wrapped in plastic sheeting and zip-tied to PVC pipe, plays the footage on loop while costume blood is drawn from a bucket by an Arduino-controlled pump, routed up the wall through tubing, and spouted back down into the pail in a closed circuit. The construction looks less like an art installation and more like a serial killer's workspace, and that's the point. The UFC has 700 million fans. Someone built this for them.
