Quantum Computer
This box contains a quantum computer. There either is, or is not a laptop sealed inside. By withholding proof of the computers existence from the viewer the contents of the box are forced into a quantum superposition in which the potential computer simultaneously exists and does not exist.
Based on the famous “Schrödinger’s Cat” thought experiment, this work plays with concepts of quantum mechanics as well as the English language to create what could be considered the world’s first quantum computer.
Cardboard box sealed with packing tape, post-it note, potential Macbook Air.
